AI Model Data Practices
Last updated: August 8, 2026
ScriptMotion does not use your content to train any model of our own. We send your scripts, prompts, images, and reference media to third-party AI model providers only to generate the output you ask for. For every provider listed below except those marked as exceptions, our agreement with that provider states that your inputs and outputs are not used to train their models. We will update this page before adding any provider whose terms permit training on customer content.
| Provider | What we use it for | Trains on your content? | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|
| Google (Gemini API, paid tier) | Veo video, image generation | No | A limited period for abuse monitoring; no fixed term is published |
| OpenAI (Platform API) | Sora video, script generation | No | 30 days for abuse monitoring; Sora artifacts 48 hours in processing |
| Anthropic (Commercial API) | Script generation, prompt parsing | No | 30 days |
| Kling (International API) | Kling video models | No | 30 days |
| BytePlus ModelArk | Seedance video (primary route) | No | 180 days, for safety-filter matches only |
| Runway (Enterprise agreement) | Runway video models | No | Governed by our enterprise agreement; not separately published |
| MiniMax (Hailuo H3) | MiniMax H3 video | Exception — yes. Provider terms permit use of inputs and outputs to develop and improve their services. | Not specified by the provider |
| Kie.ai (reseller) | Wan video models; Seedance fallback | Exception — no commitment. The reseller makes no no-training commitment, and the upstream provider relationship is not disclosed to us. | Generated media 14 days; logs 2 months |
Seedance requests are sent to BytePlus first. A request that BytePlus declines is retried through the reseller listed above, and that reseller's terms and retention apply to it.
Output-use restrictions: none. No provider we use restricts how you may use the video you generate.
