Acceptable Use Policy

Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy governs your use of ScriptMotion's AI video generation platform. We are committed to ensuring our technology is used responsibly and ethically.

Prohibited Content

You may not use ScriptMotion to generate content that:

• Is illegal in any applicable jurisdiction
• Contains or promotes child sexual abuse material (CSAM)
• Promotes violence, terrorism, or hate speech
• Is designed to harass, bully, or intimidate individuals
• Constitutes non-consensual deepfakes or impersonation
• Infringes on intellectual property rights of others
• Contains misleading information intended to deceive voters or manipulate elections
• Promotes illegal drugs, weapons, or regulated substances
• Is sexually explicit or pornographic

Prohibited Activities

• Attempting to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract models from the Service
• Using automated tools to scrape or bulk-download generated content
• Sharing account credentials or reselling access to the Service
• Circumventing usage limits, rate limits, or credit restrictions
• Interfering with or disrupting the Service or its infrastructure

Uploaded Images and Likeness Consent

ScriptMotion lets you upload photographs and images and generate video from them. You are solely responsible for every image, face, voice, and likeness you upload or depict, and you must have the legal right to use it. Specifically, you agree that:

• You will not upload an image, photograph, face, voice, or likeness of any real, identifiable person without that person's explicit, informed, and freely given consent to that use, and — where required by law — that consent in writing. You must be able to produce evidence of that consent on request.
• You will not upload or generate content depicting any person under the age of 18.
• You will not upload or depict public figures, celebrities, or other private individuals without the consent required above, and you will not use the Service to impersonate any person or entity.
• You will not create non-consensual, intimate, sexual, or deceptive depictions of any person, including “deepfakes,” or use the Service to harass, defame, defraud, or harm any person.

When generating AI characters, you must not create likenesses of real individuals without their explicit consent, and custom characters must not be designed to impersonate specific public figures, celebrities, or private individuals without such consent.

Disclosure Requirements

You must disclose that video content was generated using AI technology where required by applicable law or by the policies of the platforms on which you publish (e.g., Meta, TikTok, FTC guidelines).

Enforcement and Responsibility

Violation of this policy may result in content removal, account suspension, or termination. We reserve the right to investigate suspected violations and cooperate with law enforcement when required.

You are solely responsible for the content you upload, generate, publish, and distribute using the Service. To the maximum extent permitted by law, ScriptMotion is not liable for any content that violates this policy or for any harm arising from it, and you agree to indemnify ScriptMotion against any resulting third-party claims as described in our Terms of Service.
