Create Your First Video in 5 Minutes
This guide walks you through the fastest path from sign-up to your first AI-generated video. You'll create a brand, start a campaign, and run through the workflow builder.
Quick Start Steps

Create your brand workspace
Navigate to Brands in the sidebar and click 'New Brand'. Give your brand a name and optionally upload a logo. This takes 30 seconds.

Set up your Brand Kit (optional)
Click into your brand and go to 'Brand Kit'. Add your brand colors, logo, and voice guidelines. The workflow builder will use these to keep videos on-brand.

Create a Campaign
Go to your brand's Campaigns tab and click 'New Campaign'. Name it (e.g., 'Summer Launch 2026') and add a brief description.

Start a new Video
Inside your campaign, click 'New Video'. This opens the Workflow Builder — the heart of scriptmotion. It opens in Easy mode: a single card where you can write a script and generate; switch to Pro mode for the full 5-step editor.

Complete the workflow
At minimum: pick a format (Step 1), choose a character or select 'None' (Step 2), and write your script (Step 4). Then click Generate — the AI produces your video in minutes, and it appears in the Generations Rail on the right.
Tip
You don't need to configure every workflow step to generate a video. Background (Step 3) and Audio (Step 5) have smart defaults that the AI will fill in.
Note
During the beta, members receive a free 650-credit entry grant (valid 14 days). Check your credit balance in the header before generating.
