Understanding Org > Brand > Campaign > Video
How scriptmotion organizes your agency's work across clients and projects.
The Four-Level Hierarchy
scriptmotion uses a four-level hierarchy to organize your agency's work. This structure keeps client data isolated, enables granular permissions, and maps naturally to how agencies operate.
Level 1: Organization
Your organization is the top-level container. It represents your agency. Billing, subscription plans, and credit balances are all managed at this level. One organization can have many brands.
Level 2: Brand (Workspace)
Each client gets their own brand workspace. Brands are isolated — team members assigned to Brand A cannot see Brand B's content unless explicitly added. Each brand has its own kit, characters, products, and campaigns.
Level 3: Campaign
Campaigns group related videos for a specific marketing initiative. Think of them as project folders. A brand can have many campaigns (e.g., 'Holiday Sale 2026', 'Product Launch Q1').
Level 4: Video
The individual creative asset. Each video is built through the 5-step workflow. Videos belong to exactly one campaign.
Note
Permissions are managed at the brand level. When you invite a team member, you assign them a role (Manager, Editor, Viewer, or Client Reviewer) for that specific brand.
| Level | Contains | Billing Scope | Access Control |
|---|---|---|---|
| Organization | Brands | Subscription + Credits | Org owner only |
| Brand | Campaigns | Uses org credits | Per-brand roles |
| Campaign | Videos | Inherits from brand | Inherits from brand |
| Video | Generated output | Per-generation cost | Inherits from brand |
