Managing Your Subscription
Upgrade, downgrade, switch billing cycle, or cancel your ScriptMotion subscription.
Everything about your subscription is managed from Settings → Billing. From there you can move between plans or cancel.
Upgrading
Upgrades take effect immediately. You are charged the prorated difference for the remainder of the current billing period, and the higher plan's limits and credit grant apply straight away — the new credits land as soon as the prorated payment succeeds.
Downgrading
Downgrades are scheduled rather than immediate. You keep your current plan's limits, features, and credits until the end of the billing period you have already paid for, and the lower plan takes effect when that period ends.
Check your usage against the lower plan's limits before the change lands. If you are running more client brands or more seats than the new plan allows, the existing ones are not deleted, but you will not be able to create new brands or invite new members until you are back under the limit.
Cancelling
Cancelling stops the renewal. You keep full access for the rest of the period you have paid for, and at the end of it the organisation drops to the free plan — which carries no monthly credit grant. Your brands, campaigns, videos, and generated assets are all preserved, so re-subscribing later picks up where you left off.
Any top-up credits you hold are unaffected by a downgrade or a cancellation. They stay usable for the full 12 months from their purchase date regardless of what happens to the subscription behind them.
Annual subscriptions
Mid-cycle plan changes are not yet supported on annual subscriptions. If you are billed annually and need to change plan before renewal, use the Stripe customer portal — the Billing tab links straight to it — or contact support.
