Navigating the Editor (Easy & Pro Modes)

How to switch between Easy and Pro modes, move between steps, and rely on auto-save.

Easy Mode vs Pro Mode

The editor's top bar holds the back button, the editable video title, and an Easy/Pro toggle on the right. Easy mode is a single card built for speed: write a script, optionally add a character, product, or background via the 'Add to your scene' tiles, pick format from the pill bar, and hit Generate. Pro mode exposes all 5 steps with full controls. Both are views over the same video — switch freely without losing anything.

Moving Between Steps (Pro Mode)

In Pro mode, the 5-step stepper sits in the center of the top bar: Format, Cast, Scene, Script, and Audio. Click any step to jump to it, or use the Continue button at the bottom of each step. On the final step (Audio), Continue is replaced by Generate.

What's Required Before Generating

  • Step 1 (Format & Layout) — a layout, aspect ratio, resolution, and duration must be set
  • Step 2 (Character & Product) — pick a character, or explicitly choose 'None' for a video without a presenter
  • Step 4 (Concept & Script) — at least one scene with dialogue or a visual description
  • Steps 3 (Background) and 5 (Audio) are optional — generation uses sensible defaults if you skip them

Saving Your Work

Your workflow state is auto-saved to the database every few seconds whenever you make a change — there's no save button to remember. If you close the browser and return, you'll pick up where you left off.
